Anna Claire Rosson

Mrs. Anna Claire/ AC is the owner, manager, and an instructor at SoZo. She has been dancing for 15+ years, has managed a pre-professional dance troupe and performed in multiple dance companies across the south. Mrs. AC is passionate about choreographing, high-energy dance and loving her dancers well. She loves to paint, sew, and be outdoors whenever possible!

Buffy Payne

Ms. Buffy has been dancing and teaching for many years. She is passionate about her dancers and loves to spend time at the studio.

Laurel Farmer-Johnson

Mrs. Laurel has danced and taught for many years (I’m not allowed to say how long). She actually taught Mrs. AC how to dance in their kitchen. Mrs. Laurel loves her dancers and is very passionate about ballet. When not at the studio, she rides her horses and spends time with her family.

Nina Burke

Ms. Nina began her dance career in Massachusetts when she was 5 years old. She danced competitively and won many awards competing with her own choreography. In college, she was a member of the dance program and participated in many shows. She has been teaching for seven years.

 

Loren Hilliard

Mrs. Loren has been dancing since she was 4 years old. She began taking classes with SoZo Dance Academy (formerly Leslie Hall School of Dance) when she moved to Murfreesboro at the age of 8, and has been teaching here since she graduated highschool in 2018. Loren is a talented tapper and has a wonderful way with our tiny dancers. She also helps Mrs. AC manage the office and spearheads Buffy’s Boutique.

AYAKA Esquivel

Mrs. Ayaka began taking gymnastics at the age of three. She continued until she was introduced to rhythmic gymnastics where she competed and traveled across the U.S. with her team. At the age of 14 she began dancing at a local dance studio in Murfreesboro. She has since danced in an American Eagle commercial, a music video, and for the MTSU dance team for 4 years. Mrs. Ayaka is passionate about teaching and encouraging her students to be confident in themselves.
